About - Jen Hauser
Jen has been riding since the age of 9 with her start on a horse named WinDancer. This horse helped instill a love of the sport and the love of the animal which Jen still carries today.
In her junior years, Jen trained with Wendy Newby and successfully showed in all 3 rings including professional divisions as a junior.
Jen had a successful career showing in the Indiana Hunter Jumper Association and as young junior being named the IHJA junior medal finals champion in 2003 and 2005. She also qualified and competed at Maclay Finals in 2004 and 2005.

Jen’s students have won ribbons at WEF, Devon, The Pennsylvania National Horse Show, Washington International Horse Show, National Horse Show, and Junior Hunter Finals.
Student highlights include a 4th place finish in the NAL Children’s Hunter Finals and a 5th and 8th place finish in the NAL Adult Hunter Finals at the 2020 Washington International Horse Show. Jen was also a part of the team when A Timely Affair and JusD’o were selected as “Best Turnout” at the WIHS in 2020 and 2021 respectively. She has also helped riders qualify and compete at the Hamel Finals, Medal Finals, and Maclay Finals.
While Jen loves all aspects of our sport, she has as special place in her heart for the jumper ring. In 2023 not only was she a medal winner at the USHJA Zone 4 Southeast Jumper Finals but she also coached the individual 1.15m gold medal winner and 5th place individual rider. She also trained the anchor rider for the teams event in the 1.15m who helped secure the silver medal for their team. This year, a student of Jen’s was a member of the gold medal team in the 1.25m AO Jumpers at Zones.
Jen and the team pride themselves on setting goals and meeting them head on.
One of Jen’s favorite parts of her role at Fox Lake Farm is “Getting to see the kid’s progression over the years. Watching them grow up and achieve their goals is such a treasure and I love being a part of the team that makes those dreams happen”.
