Week one of the Brownland Autumn shows is a wrap and we had an awesome show! Annie LaRussa and her new horse Escalido were champion in the pre-children's hunters. This was their very first show together and Annie's first time showing a horse. Keri Rankin and Constellation were reserve champion in the middle adult amateur and Hagen Blackwell and Flyer Miles kept up with their winning ways and brought home another champion ribbon in the small pony hunters. Rachel Dees and Fleetwood showed their skills by competing in both equitation classes and their usual 1.10 children's jumper classes. Rachel won the Southeastern Children's Medal and was 2nd in the THIS Meal. Abby Beaty made the move to the jumper ring with here new mount Via Dolorosa. She and "Vinny" also picked up some ribbons in the equitation classes. She was second in the Southeastern Children's Medal and was 4th in the THIS medal. She also picked up ribbons in the 3'3" junior hunters with her horse Third Day. We are looking forward to week II! Hagen and Miles will travel to the Washington International Horse show to compete in the small ponies at the end of the week.
